A Clementi Landmark Since 1983
Clementi Swimming Complex opened on 15 August 1983 as one of six HDB swimming complexes built across Singapore in the early 1980s. It was designed to serve residents in Clementi, West Coast and the surrounding neighbourhoods, giving the western part of the island its own public pool.
The complex received an Honourable Mention at the 1987 Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Architectural Design Awards. The design used a staggered pool layout that captures tropical breezes across the deck, with innovative drainage that keeps the surrounding areas dry even during heavy rain.
After more than 40 years of continuous service, Clementi Swimming Complex is currently undergoing enhancement works under SportSG's facility refresh programme. ActiveSG also lists the children pool as temporarily closed from 24 Apr to 6 Jun 2026.

50m Competition Pool
Eight-lane outdoor competition pool, 21 metres wide. Open for lap swimming daily except Mondays. Early morning access on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 6:30 AM.
Teaching Pool
Shallower pool used for swimming lessons and general swimming. Suitable for beginners and children building water confidence.
Wading Pool
Shallow pool for young children. Temporarily closed from 24 Apr to 6 Jun 2026 according to ActiveSG.
